The Zürich branch is part of Association Effective Altruism Geneva, Rue des Photographes 2, 1207 Genève, UID CHE-357.229.406, registered as an association in the commercial register of the Canton of Geneva. That association is the legal entity behind this agreement.

What this is

A booking system for one co-working space in Zürich: desks, meeting rooms and the lunch table. It is for members of that space and for people applying to become one. It is not a public service and there is nothing to buy on it.

Getting in

Membership is by application. You fill in the form, come by for a first visit on a day when somebody is there to let you in, and the office decides afterwards. Signing in with Google or by email link does not by itself create an account — an address we do not know is sent to the application form.

The office can decline an application, and can end a membership, without owing an explanation. In practice you will get one.

Using the office

  • Book before you come, and check in when you arrive. The check-in is two taps on the QR code by the door and it is what keeps the office's funding numbers honest.
  • Cancel if your plans change. Every confirmation email carries a one-tap cancel link that needs no login. A desk you release is a desk somebody else can use.
  • Repeatedly booking and not turning up costs other people a seat. The system notices, and after a few times somebody from the office will talk to you about it.
  • Your booking is yours. Do not book a desk for someone else — guests come in through the guest form, so the office knows who is in the room.

The plain part

This system is run by a small office, not a software company. It may be unavailable sometimes, and it may lose a booking. Tell us when it does — that is how it gets fixed. We do not promise uptime and we are not liable for a meeting you missed because a page did not load.

Swiss law applies, and the courts of Zürich have jurisdiction.
